this is the imaginary second class citizens promo ep, minus the lead track, 'atlas'. the other three songs are inri songs.

this release is strictly a promo ep and is not enumerated as an element of the subset of countable numbers that is isomorphic to the enumeration of my release discography, but rather exists as a thought to be transcendental number outside of the peano arithmetic that is between 0 and 1, and often referred to as euler's constant.

j - guitars, floor effects (zoom 1010, mxr phase 90), electric bass guitar, sample-based digital keyboard, tapes, acoustic drums, percussion (pens on table), vocals

the sample-based digital keyboard used on this recording belonged to megan, and i had to sneak into her room to use it when she was gone because she didn't want me to use it. i had access to everything else in a room in the basement. i didn't get my own keyboard until very late 1997.

there are no synthesizers or computers used on this recording.

inri was my (jessica's) childhood screen name and musical project from 1996-1999. while i explored a wide variety of musical styles in the process of finding myself and in the end emerged as the musician i am today, i was fundamentally a young blues guitarist at the time and everything is consequently rooted in hendrix/corgan guitargeekdom. the music is of the punk era. pic from late 1996. ... more
